GEORGE CHRISTIE:   George was born in Hampton, Virginia on March 22, 1942. He was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1967 after graduating from the College of William and Mary in 1964 and the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1967. George has served as the President of the Family Law Organization of Greater Hampton Roads and is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He is a member of the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association, Virginia State Bar and Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. George has also served as Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary of the Board of Governors of the Family Law Section of the Virginia State Bar; has lectured in the area of family law for the Continuing Legal Education Programs of the Virginia, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

CHRIS CHRISTIE:   Chris was born in Hampton, Virginia in 1943 and admitted to practice law in 1968. He graduated from Old Dominion University in 1965 and the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1968. Chris began his practice as a law clerk to Justice Lawrence W. I'Anson of the Virginia Supreme Court. He then became an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney for the City of Norfolk, Virginia and has lectured numerous times throughout the state. Chris is a member of the Norfolk./Portsmouth Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers. He has served on the Board of Governors for the Criminal Law Section of the Virginia State Bar.

BARRY KANTOR:   Barry was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 2, 1933. He began practicing law in 1961 after graduating from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1955 and the University of Virginia Law School in 1961. Barry is currently a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has previously served as President of the Virginia Chapter of that organization. He is also a member and Past President of the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association and also served as Chair of the Board of Governors of the Virginia State Bar Criminal Law Section, a member of the Board of Governors of the Virginia State Bar Family Law Section, a past member of the Board of Governors of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Virginia State Bar and the American Bar Association. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 1988. He also retired as a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Barry also lectures in the area of Family Law for the Continuing Legal Education programs of the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

MARK S. SMITH:   Mark was born in Joliet, Illinois on October 16, 1954 and began practicing law in 1980. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1977 and continued his education at the Marshall Wythe School of Law, College of William Mary where he achieved his law Degree in 1980. Mark was a member of the Marshall Wythe Law Review and since beginning practice has lectured on several occasions for continuing legal education courses throughout the state on defending DUI cases. He currently serves as a Commissioner in Chancery in Virginia Beach Circuit Court and is a member of the Virginia Beach Bar Association and is the chairman of its General District Court Liason Committee. He is also a member of the Norfolk/Portsmouth Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.

J. ROGER GRIFFIN, JR.:   Roger has been a life long resident of Tidewater, Va. since being born locally on November 16, 1960. He began his legal career with Christie and Kantor in 1986 after graduating from the Marshall - Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary that same year. He received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1983. His practice concentrates primarily in the areas of criminal and traffic law, domestic relations law and personal injury litigation. Since practicing he has lectured to both other attorneys at continuing legal education seminars and to local school groups through the Virginia State Bar. He is currently a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Virginia Beach and Norfolk/Portsmouth Bar Associations.
